Francisco J. Acosta Salmerón has published numerous articles on ant ecology and ant plant co-evolution with a focus on seed harvester ants (Messor).

ANT TAXONOMY

A single taxonomic paper published in 1982 on the ant genus Goniomma, listed four junior synonyms of Goniomma hispanicum (Andre, 1863).
