Hazel Q. Andrews

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Miss Hazel Andrews was a student of T.D.A. Cockerell's at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colo., USA. She graduated in the class of 1919.

She studied Microdon (Syrphidae) in the nests of Formica in Colorado and co-published a paper on Microdon with Cockerell.

ANT TAXONOMY

Described a single species of ant, Messor lobognathus. She drew the illustrations.
