Jaroslav Ludomir Marjan Lomnicki (1873-1931)
BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
Jaroslaw Lomnicki (born May 19 1873 in Stanislav, died. April 15 1931 in Lviv) - Polish entomologist
Director of the Museum. Dzieduszyckich the initiator of the establishment and Vice President of the Polish Association of Entomological (since 1924).
In the years in 1891 - 1897 he studied in Lviv, Vienna and Krakow. Conducted research on insects in the field faunistyki, taxonomy and bionomii Coleoptera: Hydrophilidae, Curculionidae and the ants (Hymenoptera: Formicidae). He has published about 45 publications entomological. He is buried in the cemetery Łyczakowskim (right main avenue, box 21).
